pressure switch for filter monitoring
Pressure switches are usually used for simple filter monitoring. The following pressure switches are suitable for both through-flow and intake filters. With intake filters, the differential pressure to the ambient pressure is monitored, with through-flow filters, the pressure difference before and after the filter element is monitored. The two selected pressure switch models have the option of adjusting the switching pressure. Both pressure switches are also available pre-set for larger purchase quantities. In addition, both pressure switches have two 4mm hose connections for the pressure and vacuum side of the membrane.
Compared to pressure gauges, pressure switches offer the advantage of potentially much simpler signal evaluation and therefore easy integration of additional functions into a system. In addition to filter monitoring, pressure switches can also be used in mechanical engineering systems to monitor the function of the compressor itself, for example to monitor the correct direction of rotation.
Information on many other pressure switches that we have in stock is available on request or can be found in our specialized shop at www.druckschalter.shop
Can sense the difference between two pressure levels as well as positive and negative pressure. Switching point: Pressure: 5 - 800 mbar Vacuum: 10 - 800 mbar Contact arrangement: Single pole, single throw, normally open or normally closed (SPST N.O. or N.C.) Upper port can be delivered with a different orientation than the lower port This pressure switch is usually used to sense differences between two pressure levels, but can also be used to sense pressure or vacuum. The switch is optimised for use on circuitboards, therefore the electrical contacts are two 1.0 mm pins. Furthermore the upper part of the pressure switch can be delivered with a different orientation of the upper pressure port compared to the lower port. The low tolerance of ±5% in a wide range and low hysteresis are also features of this switch. The switching point can be changed by the user with a adjusting screw. The switch can be delivered as single pole single throw normally open or normally closed (SPST N.O. or N.C.) and with silver-alloy or gold-alloy contacts.
Pressure and differential switch with rotary control to set switching point Contact arrangement: Single pole double throw (SPDT) For air and other, non combustible, non agressive gases Multitude of models to cover 0.2 mbar - 50 mbar as a pressure switch or 0.1, 0.2, 1, 1.5, 2.5 mbar as a differential switch Model Switching point Differential PSW-A3-02 0,2 ~ 2 mbar 0,1 mbar PSW-A3-03 0,3 ~ 3 mbar 0,1 mbar PSW-A3-04 0,4 ~ 4 mbar 0,2 mbar PSW-A3-05 0,5 ~ 5 mbar 0,2 mbar PSW-A3-10 2 ~ 10 mbar 1 mbar PSW-A3-25 5 ~ 25 mbar 1,5 mbar PSW-A3-50 10 ~ 50 mbar 2,5 mbar This pressure switch is outfitted with a rotary switch to facilitate changes to the switching point by the user. During normal operations the rotary switch is protected by a plastic cover, while allowing the set switch point to be read. Especially when multiple units are used in identical settings this reduces work load and saves time during setup. The included plastic cover of the pressure switch offers a protection level of IP54. Usually this switch is used to monitor the air flow in ventilation systems and heat exchangers. The device is available as a single pole double throw (SPDT) switch. Furtherfore the switch is also capable of sensing differences between two pressure levels. Assembly is possible with the holes in the feet.
Can be used as a vacuum pressure switchSwitching point: Vacuum: 10 - 800 mbarElectrical design: Normally closed contact This variant of the well-known PSW-A6 is designed purely as a vacuum switch. Only one air connection is available for the vacuum side. Electrically, this pressure switch is the reverse version of the PSW-A6. As the contacts are on the other side, this switch is only available as an NC contact. The switch is optimised for use on printed circuit boards. Therefore, two 1.0 mm pins are available as electrical connections. The low tolerance of ±5% over a wide range and low hysteresis also characterise this model. The pressure switching point can be changed by the user via the adjusting screw. The mutual position of the screw in relation to the pins facilitates mounting on the PCB. The switch is available as a normally closed contact with gold or silver plated contacts. The complete pressure range cannot be covered by a single model; different springs are used for different ranges. Attention: Due to its small size, the model has only short spring travel. If in doubt, please enquire whether a specific pressure can be set with a specific model.A desired switching point is only possible from an order quantity of 50 pieces.
The PSW-A6 pressure switch is designed for use on a circuit board and therefore has two pins for the electrical connection and is available either as a normally closed or normally open contact.
The pressure switch is adjusted using a screw on the top.
There is no protective housing for this pressure switch, especially not against moisture.
The PSW-A6 pressure switch is particularly suitable for series production where the desired pressure point is known or can be easily adjusted in a measuring environment. In addition, the PSW-A6 is particularly suitable for circuits with several pressure switches due to its small design and low cost.
The PSW-A3 pressure switch has three 6.3 mm connections and is designed as a changeover switch.
The pressure switch is conveniently adjusted using a rotary knob with a scale that shows the set pressure.
This pressure switch has a protective housing, is encapsulated (with the cover fitted) and corresponds to protection class IP 54.
The PSW-A3 pressure switch is particularly suitable for prototypes as well as for the simple adaptation and documentation of systems in the field.
Our differential pressure sensor PT3 offers the possibility to monitor differential pressure at low cost with appealing technical data. The integrated display allows the employee to see the status of the system without having to read out the values for the control. Thanks to the backlighting, this is also possible in unlit areas. Since the display is integrated and pre-configured, there is no need for buttons to adjust the display. The adjustment options are available as switches on the circuit board (measurement range, unit, automatic zeroing). The sensor offers simultaneous outputs of 4-20mA as well as 0-10V, corresponding to full flexibility in the use of the signals. The accuracy of 1% is more than sufficient for the small measuring ranges (1 mbar, 10 mbar, 100 mbar). The measuring range can be centered (e.g. -50 ~ 50 mbar) or nulled (e.g. 0 ~ 100 mbar). Smaller measuring ranges to increase the accuracy can also be set (e.g. 75, 50, 25, 10 mbar for PT3-211). Details can be found in the data sheetIn general, this sensor offers a complete system for a wide range of applications at a low price.
pressure sensor for filter monitoring
Pressure sensors are used for more precise filter monitoring. These not only trigger an alarm when a certain pressure drop occurs in the filter, but also allow the system to be continuously monitored. With an appropriate control system, the data can be evaluated centrally in order to conveniently control the material flow of the replacement filters.
The proposed PT3 pressure sensor has an integrated display to provide on-site employees with direct access to the current measured value. This pressure sensor also has both a 0 - 10 V and a 4 - 20 mA output, which supports integration. Due to the narrow measuring range of -100 ~ +100 mbar, the sensor also has a high measurement accuracy in the relevant range. The sensor with display is preconfigured and can be switched to narrower pressure ranges using internal dip switches if required.
